2 Suggestions for Making Daily Blog Posts
Your blog is one of the best ways to increase traffic to your site. When you post tips and suggestions that are geared to what you offer, your readers will come back for more. The ideal way to increase the traffic to your blog is to post daily. That can be a huge challenge when you have a family and run a business. There are several things you can do to make the posts easier for you.
Creating a blog calendar will help with the topics. Creating a calendar with topics for each day of the week will give you ideas for each day. You can use the ideas or you can write on whatever comes to mind. One way to always know what the topic is for a specific day is to come up with something that goes with the day of the week. For example, Wordless Wednesday is a great topic for your Wednesday post.
Now what I’ve done is created two topics for each day. That way I’m not doing the same type of post each day. Of course, it depends on the content for your blog as to what your categories will be. For Wednesday, mine are Wordless Wednesday’s and Writing Wednesday’s.
Another way to make it easier to make daily posts to your blog is to have guest bloggers. When you have a guest blogger post to your blog, they get credit for the post in the form of a bio. You can either tell your guest bloggers what to write about or you can give them generic topics and they can go from there on the content.
While guest bloggers are good for helping you with content, it’s not a good idea to use them too much. I don’t recommend using guest bloggers more than once a week. You want fresh content for your blog, but you want it to be your own as well. Since your blog is how you get your readers to purchase from you, it’s a good idea to use your own content as much as possible.
Growing your business is the most important thing you want to do, so it’s important to find ways to make it happen. Your blog is one way to make that happen. When you use these suggestions, you’ll have a better chance of scheduling daily blog posts, which will increase your traffic and ultimately grow your business.

Become an Online Coach
You have probably seen this online. Or received an email from one. One what? An online coach. A person that works with technology to offer advice, insight and guidance in a particular area.
Do you like working one on one with people? Making that personal connection? This might be the online biz for you. You can work world wide helping people solve problems and achieve dreams
As an online coach, instead of offering that guidance and support in person, you offer your services online.
Some of the ways you communicate with your clients is via:
* Teleseminars
* Instant messaging
* Chat rooms/forums
* Membership sites
* Information products like ebooks, reports and online courses
* Even audio or video
You can also offer your services over the telephone and in person as well if that suits you.
The Benefits and Drawbacks of Coaching
There are many benefits for coaching. It offers you the ability to have a direct impact on the lives of others. You also get to benefit financially from your passion and knowledge. The drawback is that depending on how you set up your business, you may rely solely on your coaching clients for income. That means when you’re not coaching, you’re not making any money.
But Coaching is also a great fit for information, affiliate and membership marketing. So you can earn money even when you’re not directly interacting with your clients. Your coaching also does not have to all be live. Much of your coaching business can also be automated with the use of autoresponders, shopping carts, and even forums or chat rooms. Your customers can connect with you via email etc. and you can respond later.
If you like working one on one with people and have a specialized experience or knowledge to share, consider online coaching as a business.
Starting A Paid Membership Site
A paid membership site is a popular online business for internet marketers. This kind of site is one that requires a membership or subscriptions to access certain parts of the information provided. It can be for some, more valuable information, or for all of it. Members gain access to information and pay a monthly fee for that access. A good example is Hulu. Much of the content is free but for extended access to more ‘prime’ content you pay a small monthly fee.
A membership site for your business can work much the same way. You can charge for subscriptions, offer them for free, or a combination of the two where the paying customers get a more access and prime content.
You make money on the site by charging for membership. You can also create membership tiers. For example, silver, gold and platinum membership.
Alternately your membership site can be completely free, only requiring a sign up and then profit by including affiliate links and product promotions in your content.
The Pluses and Minuses of Membership Sites
Pluses
It fits just about any topic.
It is a nice way to earn a consistent income.
A great way tostay in front of your prospects and customers.
You can automate much of your membership site.
Technology makes it easy to schedule and deliver messages.
Minuses
Requires a lot of content creation and delivery.
Think this is a good fit for you? Here are 4 ways to succeed with your membership site.
- Make it special. Offer something your competitors don’t. Unique content is key here since your people are paying for it. If they can find the same stuff for free online they wont’ be happy.
- Make sure you know your target market. Do your research. Do keyword searches and run polls on your site to make sure you are meeting a need.
- Offer freebies to your subscribers. Ebooks, exclusive coupons, software. Things they can really use and again things that are not available for free elsewhere.
- Automate as much as you can. Auto-Responder, automated payments, sign-ups, cancellations. All those good things that might take up too much of your time.
Like the thought of having a membership site? This idea is good for you if you are good at planning.
Generating Leads With an Autoresponder
But did you know that all autoresponders start out without a list? The list doesn’t exist until your autoresponder mailing list starts filling up with names and email addresses!
The easiest and fastest way to build up an email list is to give things away for free. Some marketers will tell you that this is a waste of time. If you already have a list of one hundred thousand people that you can market to, then it probably is. But for those who do not already have a mailing list, this is the way to go to build that list.
On your website or blog give away an ezine, free reports, free ebooks, a free e-course, or anything else that you can think of. But in order for people to receive that freebie they have to agree to receive email from you every so often in the future. This is the opt-in part. The person gets a freebie and you receive their name and email address along with permission to email them in the future.
This is also where you use an auto-responder such as Aweber
Autoresponders are one of the most important marketing tools that you can have if you are doing online business. Using your preferred software it is set up to automatically respond to your new subscriber. It can tell them where to access their free report or let them know about new articles on your website. Autoresponders can ensure each customer email is acknowledged in a timely manner. You decide.
Also the freebie that you give away should also be used to promote your products or services. Even if it just has affiliate links for products or services that are related to the topic of the freebie, it is a way to generate extra revenue. Then, when you send another email in the future, you can again promote your products or services. But don’t abuse these email privileges. Don’t over solicit and be sure to include valuable information in the email as well, or you will have people dropping off of your autoresponder mailing list like flies!
With an autoresponder you are sending information to someone who is interest in hearing more from you. These are potential future customers. Put it all in automatic mode with the use of an autoresponder. Aweber
