Many of us make the decision to stay at home to spend more time with our families. Being out in the workforce and coming home to care for your family is not easy. My hat off to those who can accomplish it.

Many of us make the decision to try and do some sort of work from home to help contribute financially to the household.

And with that when we are ready to go into business we sometimes don’t know where to start. So here are few tips on starting to work from home.

So here is a little basic checklist for your new home based business…

1. Do something you will enjoy and that you know a bit about.
2. Start small. Just get your feet wet before diving fully in.
3. Learn a bit about what’s happening in the industry that you’re focused on.
4. Niche is in. Which means stay focused. You don’t need to make every type of widget available one in many style is a good thing.
